When Goren, Eames, Anna and Jonas Slaughter are in the Slaughter's study after Jonas confessed to Anna, the video playback that Goren shows correctly displays the mirrored image from the video camera that was pointed to a mirror in the room. However, the playback image should also show the video camera too as it would also be visible in the image it takes of the mirror.
A judge would never release someone ROR when they are being charged with murder in the second degree because the law requires significant bail on serious felony charges.
The video of Jonas confessing to Anna would have never been admissible as evidence. Since Jonas and Anna were married anything they said in private to each other would be protected by spousal privilege, so any recording made of their conversation would be privileged as well. Anna could have testified to what Jonas said if she wanted, but the video could not be shown to the jury.
