Mark Farrell removes his glasses twice when talking to the doctor: once when he closes the book, then again when he sits down.
It is inaccurate for Mark Farrell to call himself a corpsman. The Guard is Army and the Army has Medics. Corpsman is a Marine Corps term for a Naval Medic, and the Marines have Reserves, not Guardsmen.
They keep saying the woman in the vegetative state suffered "heart failure", and that's what put her in that state.
But heart failure is almost always a chronic condition that runs for weeks, months, or even many years with treatment. It usually stems from long-term high blood pressure that puts a load on the heart, and over time the becomes enlarged (dilated). And loses its pumping efficiency. As it progresses the person retains fluid in their extremities and lungs. They also mention an arrhythmia and seem to use the two diagnoses interchangeably. But it's more likely she had a serious injury that led to poor perfusion of the brain and brain death/damage.
When Goren uses his laptop to check details of the brain damaged victim's former company Pontchartrain Industries, the screen shows he was logged on to the NYPD Intranet. An Intranet is a shared facility access to which is restricted to company employees, and is not an internet search engine, yet he is able to pull website information on the company anyway.
Mark Farrell mispronounces the word "corpsman".
