Playing hooky is all fun & games, until the vice cops suspect you're loosey-goosey for money!

I was an almost 9-year-old girl when Laverne and Shirley debuted in January 1976, and I enjoy the show even more as an adult than I did as a child. As funny as some of their antics are throughout the series' run, I admire the physicality required of both Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams in many episodes, including this one, as much as I appreciate the comedy. This is another enjoyable episode of fun, comedy, and friendship.

Ferris bullering

It was nice to see the girls take the day off. I am guessing in those days it's unusual to see young women out and about. I know time's were different but come on, if those cops suspected them soliciting wouldn't the girls seduce them immediately? I don't know. Glad one of them was smart.
