A big-time world title fight comes to the Montecito. Except that it almost doesn't happen, thanks to a stolen prosthetic leg. Mary has a starring role at the fight, too. Danny (still on crutches after being shot - in real life, Josh Duhamel had done an injury playing basketball and couldn't walk properly, so the injury had to be written in) and Ed, following a strange betting pattern on an undercard fight, try to convince an aging boxer who has medical issues to not fight again. It is a sad story of an athlete clinging to the fame they once had, even though it could cost them their lives. A thoughtful plot line. Delinda, Mike and Nessa find a bag full of cash, and after great deliberation decide to hand it over, which is where the Blue Man Group comes in. The look on Ed's face in the scene on the casino floor when the BMG do their thing - priceless. I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again: James Caan does a wonderful job as Ed.
I really loved the scenes with Danny and his dad. Josh Duhamel and John Terry really could pass as son and father. And we saw the softer side of Ed, gifting McCoy senior and junior tickets to the fight,
