Hank gets hitched
Woodyanders13 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
All kinds of havoc occurs after Hank (the always terrific Jeffrey Tambor) decides to get married live on the show.

This episode derives a tremendous amount of gut-busting comic mileage out of showing Hank at his most hysterically clueless, bumbling, and toadyish: Whether he's shamelessly sucking up to idol Ed McMahon at a strip club or clumsily telling Larry (Garry Shandling working the neurotic angst like a total pro) that he loves him, Hank is an absolute riot to behold throughout. Moreover, Arthur (a sublimely cantankerous Rip Torn) gets to shine as well, especially when he gets all excited about the huge ratings Hank's wedding will grab for the show. In addition, there's even a surprisingly touching moment in which a concerned Larry attempts to give Hank some much-needed sound advice. A superior episode.
