SPOILER??; This doesn't give away the ending, but possible spoiler alert anyways. When Jess and Slim collect the $2,000 reward, Jess gives the reverend some money, then buys a pair of shiny new boots. The real Kuba Smith steals the money. Later he says he has the $2,000. How could he, Jess spent part of it.

Cuba Smith/Cooper Smith

In this episode John McIntyre plays a character named Cuba Smith, in wagon train Robert Fuller plays along side John McIntyre and Robert Fuller plays a character named Cooper Smith. There must be a connection but I haven't been able to find anything, any help would be appreciated
