Michael discovers Adrian is not at all amnesic, and finds out more about the Gelman process from her. After a show-down, Michael kidnaps Nikita and tries to heal her with Adrian's assistance. Unfortunately the process has left its marks upon Adrian, and she is slowly, but surely, loosing her memories. However she declares there is still hope for Nikita..
With the help of Birkoff, Michael tries to contact George to tell him the truth about Adrian, but the attempt fails. To contain the situation, Operations and Madeleine plot George's assassination. Michael anticipates their move and saves him. He does not however divulge anything about Adrian and her situation to George, since she wants her old lover to remember her as she was and not see what she has become. At the end of the episode, Adrian is completely amnesic and is put into an elegant foster home by Michael, to be kept under complete secrecy. He then returns to Section with Nikita and a truce is reached: he gives up Nikita, they give up Adrian and reinstate him in his old position. In the end sequence Michael watches full of unspoken pain as Nikita is subjected to more mind-manipulating treatments. Will he manage to save her or is everything lost?
