elo-equipamentos20 August 2023
As far I know it's the first time that the producers allowed us see Caine's father still alive in the show, Caine was a young boy at grave of someone who gives his life to save his father in China, a Christian amulet is given to young Caine if possible in near future he must pay his father's debit with a Mexican guy named Matteo (Alejandro Rey) Caine finds out him in a seashore small village, Caine recognized the son of the man at once, explaining to Matteo that him shall pay the debt wherever it is, Matteo refuses any payments due her mother aftermaths gone hungry to raise her children without a husband to supplied the foods.

As always Caine waiting patiently a fair opportunity to pay the blood debt, then finally it came when arrives in the village their protectors lead by the Mexican Sanjero (Joe Santos) and his gang, asking for money previously arranged, turns out that such years is so badly for them due the driest season and so on, led by the local Priest (Julio Medina) and Matteo they gathered all money as can gets, nonetheless it's far away to reach on the prearranged money therefore a young rebel Jaibo (Richard Yniguez) brother of Matteo's wife (BarBara Luna) tries faces Sangero that demands a fair correction on young guy perpetrated by his fellows mates as usually Caine enters in the fight beating all them, thus Sangero suggest postpone in two days for them deliver all amount of money from the lambs as he refers to weak Mexicans.

Between the struggles Jaibo hide a rifle and goes at Gang's campfire to Kill Sangero, sadly he slides in the shot falling down at seashore rocks dying at once, Caine bringing the dead body to their family, finally Matteo surrenders asking for Caine teach him to kill, Caine warns him it wasn't so easy and wrong as well, perhaps upon his promise to pay his father's debts Caine even reluctant accepts, this an average episode, contrived ending, here the episode gathers some actors as regular guest stars in several shows as BarBara Luna who already works with Roberto Contreras in same episode in Chaparral, a bit aged and skinny as always.

Thanks for reading.

Warning: Spoilers
Season 3 Episode 14- Caine finds himself in a small Mexican village, to see a man named Matteo (Alejandro Rey), whose father had saved the life of Caine's father in China, to repay the debt he inherited when he was still a small boy. Matteo is angry because his father's death drove his mother to an early grave, and refuses to allow Caine to pay his debt. The presence of Sanjero (Joe Santos, of THE ROCKFORD FILES), leader of a band of outlaws who collect money from the village as payment for 'protection,' inspires Matteo to ask Caine to teach him how to kill. He does learn how to use his inner strength to complement the physical, and helps his village achieve independence by defeating Sanjero one on one. Julio Medina returns as another priest, like the one he portrayed in "The Brujo," and Barbara Luna appears as Matteo's pregnant wife, who first asks Caine for money, placing no value upon work. Bill Fletcher provides our only glimpse of Caine's late father, with Stephen Manly playing a younger Boy Caine, as he will in the following entry, "One Step to Darkness."
