Hands down the weirded missile I have ever seen on screen, not only does it look weird, it's major use is to run down its target and then blow it up? Storyline was interesting and decently acted.

    Kitt vs the Ferret

Bunch of bikers are out to steal a truck full of goods but end up stealing Law enforcement semi and realise that they could get rich with it. All they need is a geek's help to do it. The geek is used by them to steal money from the ATM and unleash the ferret.

A watchable episode which highlights the importance of the semi for Kitt and it's top secret data. Nice tense finale gives this episode a turbo boost. Not a great episode but suffienctly entertaining.

    The ferret!

"The Wrong Crowd" benefits from a biker gang as adversaries, but it also suffers from a sissy hacker and a roving war machine with a goofy look (and an even sillier name). Seriously, it looks like an abandoned concept for a shuttle from "Star Trek", and I'm not being mean here, but . . . the ferret? Knight's got a badass future Trans Am and everyone's worried about cruising Dustbuster named after a polecat? Just weird, is all.

As always Hoff and K.I.T.T. are there to keep things running smoothly, and in all fairness, it was kinda cool to see the FLAG semi get hijacked.

But this is beyond cheesy 6/10

    3 reasons this episode worked

This episode is memorable for 3 reasons:

1- The semi gets hijacked. That's one of the few things I recalled even from my childhood viewing of this episode in the 1980s.

2- The Ferret. Okay, it looks goofy. But I like when the villainous schemes involve a weaponized vehicle or other road worthy terror. It simply makes more sense for Michael and KITT to go up against such challenges.

3- Last but certainly not least: Julie Ronnie's performance as Erika! Does anyone doubt that a lonely computer geek would hack his own grandmother for the mere opportunity to put his hands on this girl's shoulders for a couple seconds? She's the most important "bad guy" of the episode, serving as the catalyst for everything and I bought it, hook line and sinker.

And here are a couple extra tidbits just for fun...

The actor who eventually played Nick on Family Ties (Scott Valentine) appears as one of the villains.

And the fella who would eventually voice Roger Rabbit (Robert Fleischer) plays a funny hitchhiker. Okay, he's not funny in a laugh-out-load sort of way but funny in that corny Knight-Rider-humor sort of way.

    • Quotes

'RC3' Reginald Cornelius III: [driving the FLAG rig] I dropped Bonnie and Devon off at the stroke of nine. Now I'm sure they're eagerly awaiting your tardy arrival...

K.I.T.T.: He's gloating, Michael. Did he expect me to turbo boost over ten miles of bumper to bumper traffic? I mean sustained flight has never been my strength.

Michael Knight: Don't let him ruffle your breaking fins, pal.
