Illogical Plot, Left Wing Religious Propoganda

Warning: Spoilers
The show starts out with the writers interjecting their incorrect interpretation of the Bible. In the first few minutes, Joan refers to God as He, She, It, which is biblically incorrect no matter how much the writers want it to be true. The same theme is carried on through the episode when Joan later calls God, It. Then God appears as a little Girl, then a whiny androgynous wimpy teenager.

Next we have high school students studying Field Theory, a subject that is not taught until graduate school. I know this because I have an advanced degree in Physics. We see the students sitting in the grass commenting about getting this field theory down.

Then we have the castrated boy who is dominated by his girlfriend to the point that he has signed a relationship contract with her. When he finally decides to cowboy up and confront her, she ends the relationship and slams the door in his face. Judging by the way she looks, acts, and her voice, he might want to check to make sure she really is female.

It goes on and on like this for an excruciating hour of unrelenting torture.

The show is so bad, that not even Mary Steenburgen can rescue it, and it is amazing that it made it into a second season. But, then there's the adage attributed to P.T. Barnum, "There's a sucker born every minute" as evidenced by the fact that it DID have qa second season as well as the high ratings it has garnered on this site,
