Journey's End: If you like riding a gypsy wagon through Russian forests, book here

The only slight "spoiler" is that we learn the fate of Harmon Rabb senior.

Our Dynamic Duo, having survived being shot down, finally get closer to the truth about Harm's father and how he was cared for after escaping from a Russian prison camp in this enjoyable romp across Russia.

I must say, if Harmon Rabb offered me a flight in an aircraft after this number of ejections, I would walk!

The relationship between Sokol/Falcon and Parlovsky is revealed in greater depth.

"What do we do if Rabb and Mackenzie are still alive?"

Cue gypsy foresight - some switching between 1980 and "present-day" (which was filmed in 1998, 18 years later). We have another set of energetic high-jinks as Harm follows the trail of his father across the vast landscape of the Russian hinterland with his new gypsy friends.

There is a neat set of conclusions to the story-lines which have run through the preceding Season Three plot arc - Harm Senior, Parlovsky, Sokol, even Webb!

"Only migrating birds know where the Taiga ends". Finally, Harm knows (and accepts) that his father is definitely dead and that his quest - which took Mac further alongside him than anyone else in his life - is at an end.

A good episode, providing a solid start to Season Four in late 1998.

Most marasmic image of Russia I ever saw :)

Warning: Spoilers
Oh... During the whole episode I couldn't help laughting. This is the most unbelievable image of Russia I ever saw in American movies...

Guys, please, next time you film something about Russia, hire a good Russian consultant or at least ask some locals... The whole plot is a crap. ;) This looks like an attempt to show Russia as a wild-wild country full of square-shaped beef-witted humans.

Where are armed forces in Syberia from in 1998? You missed a century, I suppose. Especially such armed forces, that can rape women? How can you purchase a train ticket without showing your ID? How can you stand on the train-station in Perm, speaking English loud, looking American from top to toe and at the same time being unnoticed? And those secret games played in KGB? Oh ;) And remember, no one in Russia calls somebody "Major Nikolay". "Mayor Petrov" - yes. But ranks are never combined with first names. You kept me laughting even during the most tragic moments of the episode...

Next time you will picture a Russian woman from country, make her gestures look simple. Not so smooth and beautiful like ones taken from aristocracy. And I doubt plain syberian woman would know even who the Chekhov is.

C'mon, guys. You really need to learn something about Russia. Really. This episode even beaten that one with crazy skipper of some Russian ship. I laughed at that one also ;)
