Harm is yanked off a flight by a smartly-uniformed Kate Pike, to deal with a murder.
Various espionage themes are explored before the action moves aboard. Kate's former lover finally gets a strong hint from Harm to "let her go" and the playfulness which characterised Harm's interactions with both his Season One female co-stars is particularly in evidence in this episode.
Good triumphs over evil (Harm proves that he is a crack shot) and the Yankees sail away into the sunset.
Sadly by this time, Season One of "JAG" was on its way to the graving dock as NBC had pulled the plug. We now have only "Skeleton Crew" - which subsequently entered JAG-fan folklore as "Skeleton Crew (Part One)" over time - to go before the NBC run concludes.
