Honestly one I don't got to much to say about and I think they execute gun safety and both sides of it better in "Gun Fever too: Still Hot" a season 9 episode. This one I think is fine and really feels like a season 1 episode, with Dee being the straight person again with them not thinking they should have the gun and of course the guys think the other way.
This episode plot is pretty simple someone is robbing Paddy's and the gang want to get a gun to protect the place. Dee also has a new love interest is very suspicious. I actually think this is prolly the best writing of the show so far, I really enjoyed how the story continued throughout and the ending with Dees boyfriend actually being the robber was a nice little twist that I honestly didn't see coming on first watch but I prolly should have. There is quite a few moments that stand out for me more then in other season 1 episodes like the gang at the shooting range and Charlie accidentally getting shot by Dennis. Also the ending is fantastic with the gang in Charlies hospital room and Dee saying no more gun and then when she walks away the whip it out and say nah we keeping it. It has its funny moments but again is held down no Frank and Dee being very out character. This episode has funny moments but it doesn't really have any iconic moments and the show starting in season 2 has so many iconic moments. I feel like there is funny moments but not really any iconic, but charlie getting shot is close, but I don't think it's as good as him getting hit by a car by Dennis in the season 2 premiere. It's a fun episode but I think is done better in the sequel one of the few of the show I prefer over the original.
