Peggy has a crush on Ricky, and that's not all!
Little-Mikey21 August 2008
Move over, Dick Clark, Janet Waldo is the world's oldest teenager and has you beat by ten years!

Ricky is being stalked by Peggy, a young fan who has a mad crush on him and who wants him all to herself. First, she follows him everywhere he goes. Next, she waits outside the Ricardo residence and then, she sneaks in and serves him breakfast while he reads his newspaper.

Unfortunately, Arthur, her classmate also has a crush on Peggy. But he is too shy suffers from a total lack of confidence. So it's Lucy to the rescue!

To end Peggy's crush on Ricky, Lucy coaches Arthur and teaches him how to dance. The plan backfires. Arthur falls in love with Lucy!

This is one of the few episodes where it isn't Lucy (and her wild schemes) versus the level headed Ricky (who is always ready to fly off the handle in an instant). It's Lucy and Ricky together having to deal with two love starved teenagers. Now what?

Lucy and Ricky the elderly!
gregoryserrano6 September 2021
This is one of those weird episodes that starts off kinda corny and annoying, but is saved by costume and dialogue as Lucy and Ricky portray very convincing elderly folk! Much of the series dealing with costumes do a somewhat poor job making it believable but that wasn't the case here! One of my all time favorite moments is Ricky continuously telling Peggy to "keep shaking!"

How to discourage teen crushes and survive it.
mark.waltz10 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Janet Waldo and Richard Crenna (pre-"Our Miss Brooks") guest star in this episode as a gushy girl with a crush on Ricky and a bashful boy who finds out that dancing with Lucy brings out the beast in him. Crenna, a far cry from the character actor known for "First Blood" and "The Flamingo Kid", is delightfully geeky, bashful and clumsy, and you would never guess that he was turning 26 the year that this episode aired. Lucy and Ricky decide to be elderly and only made up when preparing for a show to scare them off, giving Desi Arnaz a rare chance to purposely be funny rather than just react to Lucy's schtick.

Poor Ricky and Lucy

Teenagers fall in love with Ricky and Lucy. That's pretty much the episode. Lucy and Ricky work together and look older to scare off the teens. Not a bad episode but it's missing Fred and Ethel however there's no room so it makes sense.

Missing Ethel and Fred

Warning: Spoilers
In the first season there were a handful of episodes that didn't show Fred and or Ethel. I think they were too important to the success of the show. While not a horrible episode the constant interacting with these annoying teens wears thin quickly. Teenagers is something this show seemed not to understand or know anything about. Interesting as the later Lucy shows did better.

The entire episode consist of two irritating teenagers and their infatuation with Ricky and Lucy and Lucy and Ricky teaming up to discourage them . It's mildly amusing at times and Lucy and Desi do a good job playing much older than they were but it feels more like something that would have worked better as a shorter sketch and not drawn out for a 25 minute show.

The actors playing the teens were actually very talented Janet Waldo is particularly known as the voice of Judy Jetson and Richard Crenna had a distinguished career as an actor and also directed.
