Emmaline Henry before Amanda Bellows

"Is There an Extra Jeannie in the House?" opens with Captain Healey on a late date with Dr. Bellows' niece Sheila (Judy Carne), for which he pays the price by being assigned 30 days on a remote Pacific island. Having worn out poor Jeannie with one wish after another, Roger is now forbidden to use her any longer, offering her genie cousin in exchange. Leaving his apartment in the hands of the landlord, a pair of stage magicians move in for a price, caught in the middle of their act by Roger, who mistakes them for actual genies. A strange coincidence finds Dr. Bellows rescinding Roger's assignment, which has him thinking that his genies are responsible, his ego inflated to even greater heights. BEWITCHED's Bernard Fox plays the magician Artie, Emmaline Henry's appearance as his assistant Myrt preceding her debut as Mrs. Amanda Bellows by 11 months. Judy Carne would return to play herself, a cast member of Rowan & Martin's LAUGH-IN, in the fourth season's "The Biggest Star in Hollywood."
