This episode centers around Dr. Karl Svenson who is developing a formula for a metal that is stronger and lighter than steel. The Germans have the good doctor and he is set to visit Stalag 13 where he can finish the final steps of the formula.

Hogan gets wind of the doctor and tries to turn him to the Allied side but the doctor advises that he takes no sides and is just working to end the war for everyone. But Hogan has found the one weakness of the doctor. It is women. And this one singer, Magda Tischler, has caught the doctor's eye. In fact he is so caught up in the singer that he forgets to work on his formula. The does not make the Gestapo happy.

The story of the doctor and the singer was fine but the real comedy is the verbal exchanges between Burkhalter, Klink and Hogan. There are some funny line in this script that makes the viewing very pleasurable. Even the ending is some of the best written material we have seen in sometime. Good watch.
