Mainly a clip episode. Joe's on trial. Duncan is a drama queen.

Warning: Spoilers
Joe is put on trial by the Watchers for treason. Mac and Methos try to save him.

Basically, at the trial they go over a lot of past instances where Joe helped Macleod to get an immortal. Duncan then defends Joe explaining the past instances and why they happened. So a lot of screen-time is used showing clips from past episodes.

Joe really did help Mac a lot in helping to get other immortals. That's true. That's probably why Duncan's defense of him sounded so stupid. He was like a drama queen. I always felt the Watchers were evil, but in their defense, they are actually right and according to their rules, they weren't there to judge the morality of immortals.

Apparently, 80 watchers have died since Mac first met Joe. It's another immortal, but The Watchers don't care. They think somehow it has to do with Joe and Mac being friends.

The whole trial and sentence seemed so lame. The Watcher organization looks rich yet the room looked cheap as dirt.

Joe is sentenced to death but before it can be done the immortal that killed many of the 80 Watchers kill a whole lot of top dog Watchers. Joe is shot. Top dog Jack leaves before the sentence. The immortal killed his son. In the end Duncan finds a wounded Joe.

This is the first part of a two-parter. You can skip this since it's mainly past clips. Watch the next episode where they go over the main part in "in the last episode of Highlander." I gave it a 6/10
