Loved Methos and Mac hanging out together. Why did Methos stick his nose into this? Richie acting out of character. Methos had the best lines.

Warning: Spoilers
Richie hooks up with Kristin, an apparent world-renowned fashion model agency. Kristin and Mac had a thing in the past. She ended up being jealous, obsessive, and dangerous, killing people that left her or any potential rivals. Methos is in town and is warning Mac to do something about Kristen. He believes Mac is hesitant to kill an old lover because he comes from the age of chivalry.

Mac was very funny when he and Kristin first met in 1659 France. I enjoyed their banter. Great consistency here as it's apparent that this takes place not long after he left the monastery where he met Paul and Kalas in 1658, in the episode 'Song of the Executioner,' and where he learned to read starting with Shakespeare. He's mumbling to himself right before he meets Kristin: -- "To be or not to be." "It's a tricky way with words, Mr. Shakespeare."

So why was Methos sticking his nose into this situation with Mac? I always thought that was weird. My first thought was that Methos had a grudge against Kristin from something in the past. Maybe the show would eventually reveal this. But later I think it's my theory that I mentioned my 'Methos' review, that he believes Mac is "the one." Methos: "I would rather you survived. You put that first." -- I think Methos is worried that Mac would never be able to kill an old lover even if she is evil, should he ever face her.

Methos has the best lines doesn't he:

"Maybe he hasn't got out of bed yet."

"She's got him tingling in places he didn't even know he had."

"Round one to Kristin."

"Round two to Kristin."

That was some love scene between Richie and Kristin, wasn't it? It didn't seem very believable that Richie was acting that way with Mac tho. Especially at the photo-shoot. Laughing and gloating with Kristin, mocking that Duncan was jealous. Seemed very out-of-character for him.

In the flashback, while Duncan is with Kristin, he falls in love with the artist doing his portrait, Louise Barton. So what else is new besides Duncan falling in love again? At least he's not shallow as he says to Kristin: "All this. The wine, the clothes, tis all appearance. It has no meaning to it."

Too bad Kristen slashed that portrait of Duncan. That would have been a cool prop for a fan to have.

Richie and Kristin fell out pretty fast didn't they? But did Kristin have a point about contracts and such? Richie seemed awfully full of himself using his relationship with Kristen to negotiate Maria's contract.

I wonder what happened after Kristin was killed given that she was suppose to be famous? You'd think her being found dead or going missing would be a high profile news story with the police all over it. Oh well. I guess that's a plot hole.

I enjoyed Mac and Methos hanging out together. Love that Methos helped Mac work on the house. Enjoyed their conversations. They were almost like a mama bear and a papa bear worrying about their little one, Richie. It was funny. I gave it an 8/10.

Methos saw through Kristin

Warning: Spoilers
A great episode. I enjoyed seeing Ann Turkel, well because I've never seen enough of her, not on television nor in movies. She does a great job playing the gorgeous immortal Kristin who has never developed good sword fighting skills, opting instead to use her beauty and sex to get her way and to take more than a few heads in the process. Ann Turkel has pretty and interesting eyes which here in a way gave her an appearance of a woman who was not right in the head. Duncan fell under her spell long ago but lived to tell about it. Richie became her latest target. Methos monitored the situation from a distance. Methos understood what Kristin was and just how to deal with her.
