What if an insane man suddenly becomes immortal? Could have been more interesting given the premise, but it really just ends up being an A to B episode.

Warning: Spoilers
An insane man, Alfred Cahill, becomes immortal. He was already haunted by religious fanaticism and now this pushes him over the edge thinking he has to kill sinners.

Martin Kemp of Spandau Ballet fame is really a good actor. He did a great job here. Duncan tries to get him to understand about immortality and the rules, but he is so overwhelmed in religious ecstasy that he can't hear a thing Mac is saying, later believing Mac to be Lucifer.

He kills a call girl and is stalking another one who as it turns out is Tessa's childhood friend. Tessa is shocked to find out her old friend, Elaine, is a call girl and is even a bit judgmental at first. Later he corners Tessa alone and she cleverly plays along with his religious ramblings in order to save her own life. Another example of poor Tessa being terrorized by a man.

Cahill isn't evil, he's insane. It's really hard to blame him for anything. I found the pimp, Battini more contemptible than Cahill. Duncan feels he has no choice but to take him out and he does.

I didn't care about Elaine, but they gave her a lot of screen-time as someone trying to get out of "the life." Great job by Alexandra Vandernoot after Cahill cornered her, showing how upset and terrified she was. I gave the episode a 6/10

well a filler but has 1 thing shares a bit more of... Warning: Spoilers
This is also in the bottom half of well more dislike, as not a strong epi my opinion, but 1 thing, has a bit more of Tess's life in school and just how far she has grown and come (ending series has diff, way) this shows a not so good way life goes for some...AV the way she played Tess in this epi was very well done, showing her "getting into" this new sicko immortals mind (he was "sick" because of sever abuse then the "rude awakening" being killed but not dead) and yes, for a lot of people, the way she reacted to her friend "job", most would be like or worse in the way the reacted/treated her friend Elaine, which is why I gave it a 6.

No way could the new immortal could handle being who he is, was to late to make a diff to keep this man from killing mortals who he deemed bad. You can watch this one while doing other things a just checking it out once in a while, and well story wise, maybe Elaine does/did find herself and make major changes in her life...
