Alcoholic Moses Kadish wants Paladin to help him sober up before his comely wife (Avery) returns after a long absence. Trouble is that his backyard well is bringing up whiskey instead of water. Talk about having a problem! So has Kadish really discovered Jim Beam nirvana.
Looks to me like the series was running out of ideas. At least it's not a clichéd plot. The half- hour is really a showcase for that fine actor William Conrad in his pre-Cannon days. There's not much action, except for some gunplay thrown in at the end. Instead the entry's mostly talk even if Conrad is good at it. Too bad he couldn't give pointers to Avery who may be pretty, but is not much of an actress. My advice-- skip it unless you're a Conrad fan.
