This one's got the best of everything.

Some of the best episodes are when Jennifer is in trouble and Jonathan is scrambling to protect her. This is one such episode getting everything right. After taking a nasty spill, Jennifer finds herself in the hospital overnight for observation. Little did she know she'd be making quite the observation of her own, witnessing a murder in the room next door. One thing leads to another, and neither she nor anyone else can trust that she hasn't hallucinated the whole thing. Meanwhile, the bad guys consider her a loose string they try to tie up the entire episode. All the actors do a great job, here, and the episode continues to keep you guessing till the very last moment. The true star of this one, however, is Stefanie Powers. She continues to display true acting chops in bad eps, and great ones like this one. It's not the emoting, it's the little things, like the little look she gives the doctor when he finally lets her see room 203 now that her husband has arrived. Or her self-doubt and genuine fear as she has left the ladies room and is now standing looking in on the restaurant. Then there's the continuity, referencing Stanley even if we don't see him, Max giving Jonathan work documents that he has to deal with; reminds everyone that he does actually work for a living. Great episode!

One of my favourites

Jennifer has an accident in the park and hits her head, so Jonathan decisively takes her to a hospital. She reluctantly agrees and the doctor diagnoses a minor concussion. Jennifer must stay at the hospital overnight for observation. During the night, she feels restless so gets up, takes a walk through the hallway and witnesses a murder. A nurse is killing a patient. She rushes past Jennifer and escapes. When Jennifer tells the doctor and a sour-faced matron, they don't believe her. Jonathan believes her but is confused. More so when she claims someone is following her.

Of course, this being a Hart to Hart episode she is going to prove everyone she isn't hallucinating and ends up getting gassed and operated on for her troubles

This is one of my favourite H&H, well-acted, suspenseful, especially the finale, and has a great idea. Of course, Robert Wagner and Stephanie Powers acts wonderfully- their characters really care for each other, which is one of the charms of this ace series.
