In one scene, Molly (Pamelyn Ferdin) drops her dishes into the dishwasher and then skips out of the kitchen. She said that the skipping was Eddie Albert's idea, because he said it would be funny.
The drive-in movie consisted of a clip re-used from The Beverly Hillbillies (1962) episode Jethro Takes Love Lessons (1966), which itself shows scenes from the movie Reptilicus (1961).
Co-stars Christopher Shea and Pamelyn Ferdin had both voiced "Peanuts" characters (Linus and Lucy, respectively), but in different cartoons, and also would both later have recurring roles on The Odd Couple (1970). But this Green Acres (1965) episode was the only time they actually worked together.
Gary Dubin, playing Kenny, and Eva Gabor, playing Lisa, reunited in Disney's The Aristocats (1970), where he voiced the kitten Toulouse and she voiced his mother, Duchess.
