The Housekeeper (#3.4)

Warning: Spoilers
The girls are hiring a housekeeper. It is hard to find a good one, but finally they get somebody who seems to be perfect. She also seems to have some magic powers helping Blanche to get more men and Dorothy to sleep better. But she doesn't do her job well. But when they hire her she says they will regret it. And suddenly everything starts going bad! A very funny episode. Paula Kelly is a good choice for the role and she is doing it in a very funny way.

I love it when they show all the bad things happening such as Rose falling, fun comedy. And it even makes Dorothy believe it. The tiara Rose got for the housekeeper was a fun moment as well.

The ending was great. Pretty much laughing until the end.

Warning: Spoilers
Veteran actress Paula Kelly guest stars as the housekeeper whom the girls hire (for no good reason) then fire for not doing her job properly, dealing with the belief that she's put a curse on them. This episode is funny but is subtly racist with the girls assuming that she is a witch of some sort. The funniest scene is the one on the lanai where all sorts of wacky things happen in the period of a short time. Kelly utilizes a Caribbean accent and is quite amusing. There's little of Sophia in this, only on in first few minutes where she returns to spill the beans of why the others are scared of Kelly.

Very, very funny.

The Girls decide it's time they hired a housekeeper, they are blown away by an applicant called Marguerite, who starts immediately, unfortunately she's not ho to scratch.

The plumbing went bad, the refrigerator went off, and Blanche has been dumped for a porker, there are some truly funny moments, and some classic, side splitting one liners. It's just a shame that Sophia wasn't around for most of it.

The Tiara, that is one of the funniest things I have ever seen, Rose's little trip down memory Lane was funny, Sophia's entrance was laugh out loud funny.

Paula Kelly is an absolute joy as Marguerite, I thought she was cracking, she fitted in incredibly well with The Girls.

I'll remember that excuse the next time I'm late for work.....

So, so funny, 8/10.
