It was ironic that during the dinner at the Gilmore house, Richard treated Dean the exact same way the Huntsbergers did Rory when he suggested Dean wasn't good enough for her, identical to Logan's family's outburst toward Rory with respect to Logan.

We start the episode right where the last one ended. There's yellow daisies all over Stars Hollow and it's beautiful. Lorelai tells Luke about her proposal and the whole town is interested in his response. The show must've gotten a bigger budget because they change up the Gilmore house to the one we all know and love. Richard is super rude to Dean at Friday night dinner. Sookie tells Emily about Lorelais engagement over the phone (accidentally) and she's heartbroken. Lane is about to go to Korea forever, or so she thinks.
