Und damit gefreut!

Warning: Spoilers
Max goes through the elaborate process of opening locks on the front door to his apartment only to find a beautiful girl (Jean Marie Ingels--Comedian Marty Ingels ex-wife) waiting for him inside (she bribed the landlady a buck to let her in the back way). The girl is employed at the Pussycat Galore club (modeled after Hef's Playboy clubs, at which Don Adams was a frequent visitor) and reports a famous scientist that's been reported as missing was abducted from the club the night before. The Chief has Max and 99 go undercover as a German scientist and his wife involved in top secret research at their Heidelberg lab. They come to Washington where a man claiming to be from the German embassy (Ted Knight in his second GS appearance) invites them to the Pussycat Galore club. Max and 99 are backed up by Agent Charlie Watkins (Angelique) who once again is disguised as a beautiful woman. Oddly enough, while Watkins seems to remember working with Smart before in Las Vegas("Smart Fit the Battle of Jericho"), Max doesn't seem to recognize Watkins. This is a fun episode. The opening sequence is very good as is a discussion of why the German scientists don't have any children (Barbara Feldon adorable in that scene) and the Charlie Watkins stuff while mostly a reprise of the character's earlier appearance, plays well despite the obvious dubbing (watch him check out 99!). The summary in this refers to Max's reply when the Chief tells him and 99 that in this assignment they will be in terrible danger every moment. "Und damit gefreut!" sagt Max. The Chief doesn't comprehend and looks to 99 to interpret. "And loving it" she explains.
