This episode marked the return of Agent 44, previously played by Victor French during Season 1, now played by Al Molinaro. His demeanor, however, is similar to that of Agent 13, played by Dave Ketchum during Seasons 2 and 3.
The title of this episode is more likely a reference to the program Ironside, which had been on the air for several years at this point. The character's vocal delivery is also similar to that of Raymond Burr. Interestingly, the actor once made an appearance on the Ironside program.
Without a doubt, Busby Berkeley was the original inspiration for the baby buggy scene. Dorothy Bracken, a former June Taylor Dancer, knew this very well and paid tribute to the famous choreographer.
