The One Where They're All Fogged Inn...

Warning: Spoilers
I really love this episode. It's funny and interesting and I love the use of fog as a plot line.

In this episode, the fog rolls in which makes everyone's weekend very uncomfortable. Everyone ends up staying in the house, which makes things very awkward. When you have Jesse's parents continuously arguing, Kimmy staying for the weekend, a misunderstanding with D.J., and Joey and his girlfriend being stuck and unable to go skiing as planned, things get very tough.

Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.

Waking up angry
mitchrmp22 February 2014
Joey and Jesse are pretty tired after staying up all night working on their latest jingle. That's why Jesse blows up at D.J. and Kimmie for recording over the jingle. He really hurts D.J. and Danny walks in to hear the end of it. He tells Jess that he was way too hard on D.J. and needs to make it up to her.

So, what is Jesse's idea of "making it up?" Well, he buys her drums! Danny is not amused in the least and tells Jesse the drum must go. Jesse goes to D.J. and tells her that her father said she couldn't have the drums.

Meanwhile, Jesse's father is moving in. After fog settles in, Jesse finds both of his parents there while having a fight. Things are unpleasant all around. Add a failed ski weekend for Joey with his girlfriend, and we've got one crazy household! Oh, and did I mention that Kimmie's parents went out of town and is staying with the Tanner's for the weekend?

Though not as entertaining for me as some of the others, it gives a good lesson on what being family is really all about.

Could Never Get Into This One.

Warning: Spoilers
This is one of the most serious episodes in the series. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Its better when its goofiness is subsided and replaced with real things. But for some reason this episode just simply never worked for me.

It is finally about dawn when Jesse and Joey finish their latest jingle. When Kimmy comes to sleep over, her and DJ accidentally record over it. Jesse flips. Who wouldn't? He barely got any sleep trying to come up with a perfect jingle, Joey is going on a ski trip and DJ completely ruined his project. Danny thinks that Jesse is overreacting and Jesse eventually agrees. Near the end of the episode, DJ says that she doesn't blame Jesse for blowing his top. If that were me, my butt would be black and blue. The remainder of the episode makes Jesse out to be in the wrong. So there's that that I didn't like. Later, Jesse buys a full drum set to buy DJ's forgiveness. Then Jesse's parents come over to settle a domestic dispute. They are on the verge of divorce.

Jesse buys DJ's forgiveness with drums and grandpa Nick thinks about buying his wife's forgiveness with a new outfit. This episode talks about these kinds of situations. It happens all the time. I remember being younger and my dad would try to buy me off with a bag of chips. This episode says that any kind of dispute needs to be talked about instead of bought out. I really like this. The bitterness between the grandparents and Jesse isn't very nice, but I could move past it. I've said what I don't like, as well as what I do like. The episode simply never gave me much else to like or gave me a good time watching it.
