Will, Bell Biv Devoe, and Tyriq. How could you NOT like this episode!

At the time when this episode aired, NBC knew they had a SERIOUS hit on their hands with this show. And like all TV networks are apt to do, NBC knew they had to up the hype machine of this show by adding a huge pop culture reference in Bell Biv Devoe (BBD).

I'm a BIG fan of New Edition and BBD. And it was nice to see this episode again and see BBD in a period (1990-1991) where their music and image were as hot as an Arizona summer.

Will as usual was his super funny and goofy self in this episode. For me, the height of his being super funny and goofy in this episode, was when he was dancing his way into BBD's music video by backing up into Michael Bivins and pushing Biv out of the video! That part had my dying of laughter so much that I rewound that scene about five times! Then there's Tyriq, who danced in and near the BBD video shoot. Plus, near the end of the episode he decided to ditch Will and the Banks' cleanup effort, to go hang out with some honeys at one of those Hollywood parties.

This episode was priceless and indicative of how hot this show was especially in the 1991 through 1994 period.

The Butler Did It (#2.11)

Warning: Spoilers
Adults go on vacation and kids take the opportunity to let Bell Biv Devoe film a video in the house. But since uncle Phil and aunt Vivian come home earlier they need to get the house back to what it was fast.

The episode is funny and has its moments. I especially liked Geoffrey as Cesar. But I guess I don't like it as much as most viewers because I don't know the band and them being in it is a big part.

BBD meets Fresh Prince

This episode is tight as hell! Bell Biv Devoe is one best music groups of all time. I also liked that they got Nicholle Tom(Beethoven 1&2 and The Nanny)to play one of Ashley's friends from her Girl Scout troop. It was hilarious the way they kept being interrupted every time they tried shooting the video. But what really got me going was when Will and Ty were dancing in the shoot, the director got ticked off and Ty said "I was trying to be in the video." Then when Philip and Vivian decide to come home early, they have to stop the shoot and put the furniture back in the house before they get back. When the furniture is moved inside it ends up being damp from the rain. Will orders them to start painting, but Ashley objects saying "I'm not painting." "I didn't have anything to do with this." Then when Will refreshes her memory by stating "I seem to recall a Girl Scout trying to get her "Car Theft" badge." She changes her mind and decides to help anyway. When Philip and Vivian return to the house, Philip tells them how proud he is of them being responsible during their absence. Then when he goes upstairs, they notice paint on the back of his suit and they decide to run away to avoid punishment. Absolutely LOVED it and Thumbs up to Bell Biv Devoe for their appearance.
