Girlfriends and Boyfriends (#1.8)
ComedyFan201019 February 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Nick is very much into Lindsay. Bill is lab partner with Cindy and Sam is jealous but then he finds ways to get closer to her only she still just likes him as a friend.

I feel bad for Nick that Lindsay doesn't seem to have the same feelings for him. He is actually a very nice guy. Very sweet and loving and funny. Millie and Lindsay's parents are really not fair to him.

The geek story was funny. I especially loved Bill and how he was when he came over to Cindy's place as well as him teasing Sam about it. He was just hilarious.

A week of unexpected turns

Warning: Spoilers
'Girlfriends and Boyfriends' is typical of the show's quality writing and acting, but it holds its own surprises. Subversion is almost key here. Turns out the smelly fat kid in school isn't so bad; Nick doesn't just want to consummate his relationship with Lindsay; and Sam's quest for Cindy is, well, kind of a roller-coaster. It's sadly funny when he ends up in the friend zone. But no matter what happens, it ends with playful siblings and warm feelings all around. Life moves on.

Bur seriously, Nick's idea of self-expression is Styx's "Lady"?

Super awkward!

Good, but not as good as the rest of the show

Warning: Spoilers
Another strong episode, but not one of the better ones.

The problem with the episode is that it goes by too fast and is not as memorable as most of the other episodes. I like it more than 'Beers & Weirs', but the rest is stronger.

The Freak storyline mostly involved Nick proving his lameness to Lindsay. They are hanging out more, and he is madly in love with her but the feelings are not mutual. The only reason Lindsay kissed him in the first place was out of pity. And now she's going out with him only to make him feel better.

The Geek's storyline is a lot more fun, I never liked Sam much but Bill's part of the story is hilarious as always. He becomes lab partners with Cindy and finds out that she's not as perfect as Sam wishes she'd be. She's actually quite boring. I like Gordon's part, the smelly overweight kid. He and Sam became lab partners and friends.

THREE stars for this episode, good, but not as good as the rest of the show.

A lot of comedy mixed by emotions and warm which made me nostalgic to my 18's and a super acting especially from Lindsay and Sam.
