Puppy Love
Hitchcoc27 September 2019
Eddie is a bit randy and is responsible for a boxload of puppies. Frasier insists that Martin get him fixed. This leads to some halted trips to the vet. There is a touching scene but again it isn't all that interesting. The situation Martin finds himself in is difficult, even though he lives in relative comfort with people who care for him. He has given up much of who he is.

A slow episode
studioAT25 June 2017
This episode is very similar to the one that preceded it in the sense that it tries to be both comedic and touching at the same time, and gets the balance a bit of kilter.

Again, much like the last episode the first half is funny, and then oddly after the ad break it goes all very sombre. It's a bit of an uneasy mix.

The performances are all there though, and it's a well written episode, but for a sitcom to have a pretty much laughter free second act seems a bit odd to me.

I much prefer later episodes where Frasier and Martin were less at each others throats, and Eddie was used more sparingly.
