Here we are, finishing up the Ninth Season. Frasier has been looking for love all over the place. Meanwhile, Roz is the confidante, the kind partner, the one he can talk to so casually. There are four people, all with different agendas, heading off to disparate places. It is quite intriguing.

Warning: Spoilers
Frasier and Roz as an item. This is an idea that the writers of 'Frasier' seemed to toy with on a couple of occasions, before wisely parking it.
But now by the ninth series they were running out of ideas, so here we go - an episode where they end up sleeping together.
It's actually quite well written and played out, but takes us hideously into 'jump the shark' territory, much like the earlier episode where the 'Cheers' B list gang popped up really for no apparent reason other than its spin-off needed a boost.
I'll focus on this plot line because the one involving the Moon's is as dire as any involving them has been since they started to pop up regularly in Series eight.
Around the time 'Frasier' dropped in quality then...

Any episode that features Roz never seems to be that good

She featured heavily in season 9 (it seems), and this episode in particular. I've always thought she was the weakest part of the show. This episode was yet another season 9 disappointment. I remember Frasier going down after Niles and Daphne got together, but upon my 2nd/3rd viewing, it's extremely apparent the major drop off in quality.
Like most shows I like...Nooooo! Don't go off the air!
But don't just keep churning out garbage. (I'm looking at you It's Always Sunny and Arrested Development). Maybe Season 10 gets a little better??
