This is a rare thing indeed - a good episode of 'Frasier' from its tenth series.

What's frustrating is the fact that the show can produce episodes as good as this, but can't do it consistently any longer. Instead we have moments of gold like this shining out from a bigger pile of rubbish.

I thought this was a good example of the show at its best. Well, by Series eight onwards standards.

It was warm it was funny, there were some nice examples of silliness and farce - all of the things that made the show so good in the first place/its first seven years.

I can only hope that this episode heralds a return to form moving forward in the tenth year.

One of the funniest episodes I have ever seen on network television.

This episode is, without a doubt, a side splitter. The writing for this series has always been excellent. However, the plot and execution of same has exceeded all other previous episodes; which were also well written and most entertaining.

The dynamics between characters only enhances the plot and the interaction between them. The reaction of the participants and guests to Grammar's sincerity in delivering his heart-felt and solemn speech is priceless.

In addition to the plot, this episode reveals a secret regarding two characters; in a manner which is both well-timed and humorous.

This was a total hoot. There are so many elements that are amazing. First we have that awful camera that Marty uses. It could blind a small battalion. The there's Noel, who lives in a fantasy world, but who plays the game big time. Frasier makes a promise to him that he is unable to keep and the revenge is hilarious. There is wonderful byplay between Daphne and Niles, and Martin has his as well. I thought this was going to be a dull episode but it turns out to be one of the finest.

Humor and Sentiment

I love this episode because it mixes hilarity and sentiment so beautifully. We get plenty of good jokes and sight gags, as it should be but we also get splendid emotional impact. I won't spoil it, but Frasier's speech makes me cry every time.
