Just when you think the Crane brothers have grown and matured, they take a giant step back motivated by selfish and unbridled spite. Often they are the victim of circumstance, but this time they bring it on themselves. The aggressive, competitive nature of these two is ratcheted up to a new level when prestigious wine is involved. Kirby, who is their pawn to use and abuse, turns the tables on them and plays their game. Brian Klugman portrays the adolescent, curly headed, Kirby. a treat for fans.

When it comes to wine, there are no holds barred. They need a new intern at the radio station and Kirby applies. During this time, the boys need him to get into his grandfather's wine cellar. So he becomes that joystick for them. It's not much of an episode. Once again, the two of them seem to have an unlimited supply of money.

Warning: Spoilers
Nobody's favourite 'Frasier' character returns, and although they try to make the character of Kirby engaging, and funny (I did say they tried) this is an absolute dogs dinner of an episode from start to finish.
Kirby just about worked when paired with his equally annoying mother (Lana), but solo is just a walking punch-line with a Sideshow Bob style haircut. At least the writers don't mention Lana, so there are some positives.
The Martin and his red balloon storyline is so, so much better, and that's not saying much, because it's only a very small part of proceedings.
Written by Heidi Pherlman of all people (she worked on 'Cheers') this should have been good. But by focusing on a weak character it really isn't.
