This episode was a spoof of Dr. Laura (Laura Schlessinger), who took great offence - not to herself being spoofed, but the spoofing of her mother. She felt that a line was crossed since her mother was not a public figure. Paramount removed this episode from syndication, but it has since been aired on other networks.
