Fred And Barney Split A Sweepstakes Ticket
Jimmy_the_Gent424 October 2021
Fred buys a ticket and Barney does not have enough money so they decide to share it.

One of Season 1's funniest, many great comedic mixups. Betty and Wilma buy their own ticket but don't tell their husbands. This is the episode where they go shopping and shout "CHARRRGE IT!" Fred has some funny scenes where he is haunted by angel and devils on his shoulder. There is also an old tramp with a WC Fields imitation voice.

Very witty, funny episode.

The writers seem to like Fred and Barney hiding things then the ensuing hilarity sorting out the mess of the hidden item. This the third time it's been used already. All three times it works well. The episode had two very memorable classic bits. Alan Reed masterfully voices Fred's mini demon and angel consciouses. The angel is classy and well spoken. The demon is interesting because it's a working man's voice like Fred but different and less exaggerated more like Reed's real voice. Then, the classic Wilma and Betty wanting to binge shop in unison forcefully proclaiming "Charge it". Two of the series most memorable bits. John Stephensen as usual does multiple terrific voices.
