Mother in law or maid
rgxdzrybr27 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Leading up to the birth Fred would rather hire a maid than have his mother in law around. Given how Fred feels about spending on certain things it's no small thing he would rather pay someone to work for them.

It of course is more trouble than it's worth. One eats everything in sight. Fred asking Wilma if she had breakfast "oh I nibbled on half a biscuit " Fred " half a biscuit?" Wilma " dog biscuit that is that's all I could get away from Dino " .That always cracks me up. The next maid is on such a tight schedule it just doesn't feel like home. The next maid though is a bank robber that opens the refrigerator with dynamite! Wilma to Fred " are you sure it was a park you met her in not a minefield?" Another great line.

Overall a very funny episode and he Fred ends up with his mother in law after all.

The Housekeepers

Expectant father Fred wants to hire a housekeeper so Wilma can take it easy in her condition.

A funny episode. One of the funniest scenes is when Fred goes to the employment agency and is given 3 choices. He at first is looking at Bertha, a beautiful maid with a breathy voice. Barney convinces him to try a small chubby one called Peaches. She turns out to eat them out of house and home, the other one Bubbles is too strict. Wilma keeps threatening to call Mother, Fred won't allow it.

The main story gets started when a little old lady crook named Grandma Dynamite is robbing banks. June Foray supplies the voice similar to the one she used as Witch Hazel in Warner Bros cartoons. She tricks Fred into hiring her as a housekeeper. Wilma's mother shows up at the end.
