What Do You Call a Call Girl Mystery

It starts with a woman having a nightmare. Marcella Woolridge is about to get married but three men strip her to her underwear.

Although Marcella is now a regular churchgoer and a friend of Sister Steve who is about to get married. She confides in the nun that she will reveal about her call girl past to her fiancee.

Later she is killed and her fiancee is arrested for murder.

Both Father Dowling and Sister Steve are angry but come to the aid of the fiancee who protests his innocence.

Their investigations lead to three powerful men who are behaving erratically but they knew Marcella in her old days. The police think this is all a waste of time, they have their man.

I think this episode worked better than the first two parter that kicked off the series. It might be that the main characters are established. It had less padding and so it maintained its cheesy pace.
