Crichton's line: "Stay back or the white boy gets it. Boy, you people are so dumb." Is a reference to Cleavon Little's routine in Blazing Saddles (1974).
Jonathan Hardy, who voices Rygel, makes his first and only onscreen appearance in the series in the first two parts that form the 'Princess' trilogy. He plays Kahaynu, Moya's builder.
Just before vacuum diving, Crichton says, "Never get off the boat." In Apocalypse Now (1979), the one rule for river boat patrols is "never get off the boat." The one person who broke that rule died within 60 seconds.
Part 2 and part 3 of "Look at the Princess" are the only times in which the ship Moya is given a voice. The performer who supplied Moya's voice was not credited and has not been identified.
Ben Browder's wife, Francesca Buller, has played three different guest starring roles to date on Farscape: M'Lee in "Bone to Be Wild"; Ro-Na in "Look at the Princess" and Raxil in "Scratch 'n' Sniff", all three as antagonists to John Crichton. In the Fourth Season, she came back again as War Minister Akhna, another antagonist.
