This follows the typical Fantasy Island formula of one serious fantasy, one lighthearted one.
The serious one is pretty tragic, and I think most people will be very unsatisfied with the ending. You also have to wonder why Fantasy Island was involved, it could have been handled without Mr. Roarke's intervention.
The light hearted one concerns the fantasy of a man who wants to be a Sheik in charge of his own harem. Notwithstanding that a stereotypical harem as most people think of it didn't really exist, this one looks even more ridiculous than usual, with the most cheap and tacky looking harem outfit costumes imaginable, and all the women are obviously from California, not the Middle East. Sid Haig fans might enjoy his appearance though.
