As the forth series continues, the episodes get better
randomorwhat21 May 2006
Far from being a weak episode, I found this one to be such a step-up from the rest of the otherwise fairly aimless forth series. The beating scenes, far from trying to 'recapture the chicken fight' finally bring back a semblance of the brutality that made Stewey such an interesting and funny character in the first place. Brian is darker, as are the majority of the jokes. Great pop-culture references; music as fine as any produced by the crew in any of the other series (and intentionally run on to that moment of audience discomfort which Family Guy enjoy doing so much!) Class act - one of the finest Family Guy episodes to date

Ep 4-20 Hight Point

Warning: Spoilers
Most Post 9/11/01 Family Guy episodes were pretty 'spotty'. About 1/3 of content had nothing to do with Humor and turned in to angry political posturing. Yea, we get it Seth, you were mad and scared after your close call on 9/11. BUT, this episode is brilliant. Even the Musical Number was crazy funny and I loathe musicals. From Lois and Meg peeping on Brady in the shower it amps up a notch when Stewie catches them and get s a peek. Then on top of that Peter pops in the shower to join Brady... Wow. I stopped being an NFL fan after I could no longer tolerate the TD Antics and Showboating on EVERY single play. Here, they mock that to a Meteoric Level of Comedy. Then the Brian Vs Stewie gambling bit is also Major Hilarity.

Better Than Most
cnmar5 May 2022
Many people have shown their hate for this series so i decided to watch a couple of the better received ones. This one was mostly fine but most of the jokes i did not find that funny. The highlight of the episode was Shipoopi which i rewatch a lot, say what you want about Seth but he can sing.

Funniest Episode of Family Guy
truthbornreality20 November 2011
Warning: Spoilers
This is the funniest episode ever, mainly because of the beating of Brian. At his high school reunion, Peter pretends to be a big-shot millionaire to impress his classmates, but the truth comes out when he meets Tom Brady and loses all self-control. Peter makes a drunken run for the bathroom that impresses Brady and lands Peter a spot on the New England Patriots football team. Life is great for the Griffins until Peter's new high profile goes to his head. Meanwhile, Stewie becomes a sports bookiesounds like it's going to be pretty funny, actually. discuss the episode once it finishes airing. This is by-far the most watched episode, aside from the "Stewie Kills Lois" saga.

about brian and stewie
rodogg4927 February 2006
Just to comment about Stewie beating up Brian...I thought it was pretty funny actually. It works very well as sort of an homage to The Sopranos. There are numerous episodes of money collection and people "ducking" people to avoid paying. To be honest, I don't think I would have found it funny if I didn't enjoy, let alone know about, The Sopranos. Family Guy has gone a little down hill, but it's most certainly still in the upper echelon of TV shows out there. I've also found that seeing episodes on repeated viewings are actually funnier. I hope this show doesn't get canceled again. I also hope this comment helped out.

Family Guy Hits Bottom
hotshotvz3 July 2007
This may be the worst Family Guy episode ever, marking the bottom of a downward trend characteristic of Bush's approval rating. The only aspect of this episode worth bragging about is the Soprano-esquire scenes between Stewie and Brian, and the revenge Brian gets at the end (only because I know a few people that I'd like to do that to). It was stupid singing, stupid dancing, and the ever-homo-sounding voice of Tom Brady. If you were going to do an episode involving the Patriots, make fun of them, because there's nothing in the department of humor that the Patriots can contribute (if you don't believe me, watch SNL when Tom Brady hosted it; Peyton Manning had more humor in the introduction than Tom's entire show). But back to this episode, there was practically no satire whatsoever. The comedy leaned more towards the stupid end of the spectrum where you'd find any movie with Will Ferrill in it. To the writers of Family Guy, stick to what got you kicked off the air. I was completely disappointed with this episode and if I could give it lower than
