This episode is from Season 7 of "Everybody Loves Raymond" and originally aired in April 2003. This episode revolves around the story of Marie having picked out Frank's next wife is something happens to her.
The episode starts with Marie bursting into Ray's house saying "you'll never guess who just died?" She tells them it is Rose. They all say how sweet she was and how she baked great pies. Marie then says to Frank "She was the one." He asks "the one what?" And she tells him that if something happened to her, she was the one she picked to marry Frank after she was gone.
This causes Ray and Debra to have a discussion later in bed as to who they would pick for each other. Ray doesn't want to play along, but after Debra insists, he goes along. She reveals that she picked their friend Linda. When Ray gets a far off look and goofy grin, Debra asks what he's thinking. He tries to play it off, but she says, you're picturing her naked, aren't you? He denies it, but she gets mad. She asks who he picks for her, and he says Bernie (Linda's heavyset husband). Debra isn't impressed with the choice.
They are supposed to meet Bernie and Linda for dinner the following night, but before Ray leaves for work, she tells him that Linda called and said Bernie was sick. So they decide to go to Rose's visitation later that night instead. After Ray leaves, Debra calls Linda and tells her Ray is sick and they have to cancel.
Later, at Rose's visitation, Ray and Debra are paying their respects and Bernie and Linda walk in. When they start to ask how Ray is feeling, Debra keeps interrupting. But it finally comes out and Bernie and Linda are offended that they obviously lied to get out of seeing them. Ray lets the truth out about why Debra would do this - because Debra picked Linda and thinks Ray was a little "too happy" about it. Bernie says "because you were picturing her naked".
Then Hariett Lichtman walks in and Marie starts talking bad about her to Frank. She thinks Frank has a crush on her. Marie tells him I would never pick Harriet for you. Frank then bursts out "But I wouldn't be caught dead with Rose". Everyone hears this, including her widower husband. The family has to leave in embarrassment.
