Look at Debra!
studioAT4 April 2017
Although a little bit similar in terms of plot to the last episode, this is another good outing from the Barone family as part of the 9th and final series of the long running sitcom based on the stand-up of Ray Romano.

Patricia Heaton is on fine form here, and gets to show off her comic timing to perfection. As well as showing off more than Marie and Ray would like her to in front of the PTA Mums as well.

This show was great, and this episode really sums up all that was good about it. I'm not saying the 9th series was totally great, because there were some weaker episodes, but this is not one of them.

Ray was toxic in this entire episode

Ray was unbearable on this entire episode from the start until the finish making up lies about what Debra's friends said about her just because she told him to look and dress nice which is pathetic he caused a lot of problems between her and her friends later because of the lies he told , Robert sexualizing his sister-in-law in front of his wife , Frank's obsession with Debra's hotness is uncomfortable since this is his daughter-in-law and this is not the only episode he stare at her like that ... everytime Debra wears clothes that reveals some body he's always staring at her like a dude trying to get laid .

Another disgusting episode
zombiemockingbird10 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I can see why this show ended after this season, the story lines have gone straight into the toilet. Ray, once again is totally repugnant. He lies to Debra, telling her the PTA women are saying things about the way she dresses. Basically, he's just belittling her himself; the thing is, Debra doesn't dress inappropriately for her age in the first place, so the whole thing is stupid. Then she reacts by going completely overboard and dressing like a hooker at the next meeting, which is also stupid. I know, it's a show, blah, blah, blah, but it isn't funny. It sets a bad example for the way people should behave and treat each other by showing inacceptable, disgusting behavior as a joke. I don't know if they changed writers or the writers just decided being crude and lying to everyone is funny.
