Remark about this episode
shrdlu-2772419 November 2022
As the other reviewer says, the story is a bit far-fetched. Not exactly the best Equalizer episode. There is no way that a human being, other than the Lord Jesus Christ (who is also God - see John 1:1, I Timothy 3:16, King James Bible, and other Scriptures), can predict the future, other than simply quoting what the Bible says.

There is one misunderstanding in that review. Shortly before it was filmed, Edward Woodward had a heart attack. That is why Richard Jordan ("Harley Gage") is in it. He was brought in to lighten the load on Woodward, who looks noticeably weak there. That is why Kostmeyer isn't in it. Jordan was in several episodes until Woodward was well enough to take on a full load.

Psychics involved in an already unbelievable show?
S_Forgel12 May 2021
Aside from the somewhat unbelievable premise of this episode, the opening credits were also incorrect ; though actor Keith Szarabajka (Mickey Kostmeyer) was credited as starring in this episode, he was nowhere to be found in it, nor was the character mentioned.

Somebody really wanted a SAG card
koohii5 January 2021
The only excuse for this episode existing is that somebody with connections desperately wanted a Screen Actors Guild membership card. The story of stupid beyond belief. If there were psychics, they would not be able to testify in court (look up "Spectral Evidence"), and despite what hundreds of bad fantasy shows and books might tell you: the Police do not use or work with Psychics. Ever. How many cases have been solved with the aid of various people claiming to be Psychic? 0. Not a single one. None. Zip. Zilch. Zero. Nada. Goose Egg.

So this premise is terribly stupid. The new assistant for McCall is just terrible. I can only guess that the actor who plays Mickey was busy with another part. Heck, McCall is barely in this one.

Oh, and this is that screen writers only credit, ever. Fortunately, no other episode of this or any other TV show will be poisoned by his toxic ineptitude.
