Twas the Night (#11.9)

Warning: Spoilers
A Christmas episode that is pretty sad. The big part of it is that this is the last episode of Dr. Chen. She quits on Christmas Eve as nobody can be found to cover for her and Susan doesn't want to let her have a night off. The story is pretty good as it involved Chen's dying father. She decides to provide him with the euthanasia that he wants. Pratt who comes to see her after he hears about her quitting is first against it, but he supports her through it. Very good and thoughtful episode that sometimes is a bit painful to watch. I never really liked Dr. Chen's character and am happy that she leaves especially with such a powerful story, but Ming-Na Wen is a great actress and her talent is well seen in this episode.

Warning: Spoilers
Gaslighting in various forms.

Neela, an Indian Sikh, claimed to be concerned about Christmas and tried to convince a girl about Santa Claus.

A negligent single mother used the excuse of domestic violence to appear as the victim.

"Deb" stole a large amount of medicine and supplies from the hospital in order to claim she was taking care of her father. She controlled his frustration with injections (including the very last injection).

The arrogant prat Pratt tried to judge "Deb" according to his own personal criteria without any knowledge of her situation.
