True Life Retrospective
wvugirl-4078926 November 2019
For me this episode is a true life retrospective in a way. I spent the first 2 1/2 months of my life in the NICU. I was a 28 week preemie. This episode allowed me as a grown adult to get an idea of what my parents might have experienced all those months. The isolation that almost makes you unaware of the world continuing outside the small space you are afraid to leave. This episode gives you a taste of that.

I loved this one. Abby is my fav character from season 9 onwards , I think her being in the NICU is perfect timing for her character so she can become closer to neela .

I loved that kerry and sandy have their baby in this despite it not being in the story that sandys pregnant.

Nicu(#10.12)

Warning: Spoilers
This was kind of boring. Abby and Neela go on rotation to Nicu and deal with very sick babies. Meh, the thing is that every episode in ER shows some horrible stories where not everyone survives. It being kids doesn't do any difference for me personally, so the episode didn't affect me. And every time there is a new student they second guess themselves because they get so upset over not successful stories. Has been done forever, this is already getting boring.

And is Neela stupid? Of course it is understandable the Chinese couple abandons the baby girl before they go to China, has she never heard anything about that country?.

It is obvious what it is that Abby has and Neela doesn't. It is called "experience". Abby has been a nurse forever and actually worked with kids before that. Neela is not that much of genius if she can't figure that out.

The good part of this episode was Weaver and her girlfriend having a baby. I never even realized they ended up agreeing on it.

Bad continuity

Warning: Spoilers
This episode poses a huge question...how did Weaver and Lopez have their baby already when they hadn't even decided that Sandy would be inseminated, but Kem is still pregnant and not showing in the next episode?
