I do not know who wrote the summary on IMDb for this episode but it has absolutely nothing to do with Mikaela's lost fiancé. It is one of the few episodes to directly follow the previous episode's story line, without being a double one with any cliff-hanger. So after the election Myra does leave Hank... His reaction is startling and yet totally mis-understood. He clearly cared for Myra without showing it in the right way. What happens to Hank is the main plot, not what happens to any visiting Naturalist... having watched it I have no idea where that comes from! The Man in the Moon in the title refers to the sub-plot of the gift of a telescope from Mikaela's mother to Brian. It's another thought-provoking story as are they all.
