Naturally this show's thirty-third episode should reference Larry Bird (after whose Celtics number Jacky's 33 Bar is styled), and there's at least one: Ben begins the day with groceries from a store called "Larry's". (Bird worked in a grocery during his impoverished youth.) Also, the episode ends in a French restaurant in (presumably) Boston; Bird co-owned a restaurant called the "Boston Connection" in Terre Haute, a city with a French name. As a bonus, guest star Jim Gaffigan is, like Larry Bird, from Indiana.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus was the only lead cast member of Seinfeld to appear in this series.
"Ben Treats" was a special sneak preview for the fourth season; the first "official" season 4 premiere is "Memoirs".
