I completely ignored this show when it was on air. There was so much hype in the news about it being controversial, the kids over analyzed everyone and everything, and they spoke like people in their 30's when trying to be an intellectual. Looking back I think it was a good show with many hot topics teens go through, and what I like about it is it took place in a time when the 90's were almost over. The end of a decade. I just like to see the clothes, makeup, etc. And to me the best episodes were simple and not so complicated with teen angst and drama over relationships, such as "The Scare", "Escape from Witch Island", and "Four Scary Stories". Seasons 1-3 were the best.

I enjoyed this episode. It's not one of my all-time favorite episodes from the series, or even the season, but it is a good episode to watch, and a nice way to spend forty minutes.
In this episode, Dawson "recruits" Joey, Pacey, and Jen to be his crew on a documentary he's making for history class about Witch Island. Witch Island is a local spot covered with mysteries, and which has a reputation for being haunted by witches. Yeah right. During their trip on the island, some very strange stuff happens, which leads the group to think that maybe ghost witches are haunting the island.
Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.
