  [gives smile steeped in irony] 

  Pamela Barnes Ewing : Jenna, I know how difficult it's been for you since Bobby died.

  Jenna Wade : [coldly]  Do you?

  Pamela Barnes Ewing : Yes, I do. It's been difficult for me too. But now I've gotten through the worst part of it. And I'm trying to go *on* with my life.

  Jenna Wade : I fail to see what any of this has to do with me.

  Pamela Barnes Ewing : Jenna, if I could be of any help to you... Even if you just want to talk, I'd be more than happy to listen.

  Jenna Wade : [sharply]  Why do you think that you can help me?

  Pamela Barnes Ewing : Because of what we've both been through. Because of how we've both felt about Bobby.

  Jenna Wade : We don't feel the same way. I loved him. You divorced him. And now you've got Mark Graison.

  Pamela Barnes Ewing : Jenna, that's not fair!

  Jenna Wade : What is fair? You had what I never did! That's why you could never understand how I feel. All Bobby ever wanted was to marry me.

  [Pamela reins herself in] 

  Jenna Wade : The one thing in the world that he wanted the most... and I deprived him of it. All our lives we planned on being married, Pam... that will never happen. Now he's dead! We'll never be married.

  [near hysterical:] 

  Jenna Wade : How do you expect me to... forgive myself for that?

  [rushes past as Pamela gazes after her]
