There are times during "Curb" when you just want to shout "Don't do it!" at the screen. Larry's decision to sell Toyota cars on the day that his wife has planned a house move is a typical bad-decision. Thankfully, long-suffering wife Cheryl has more patience than 99% of the female population and takes such decisions in her stride.
The show's ability to capture real slices of life is its key to success. Larry's beautiful new house feels strangely less appealing when he's moved in and the strange "house sounds" are a genuine pain for him. Knowing a fellow-sufferer of such sounds, I found this a wonderfully amusing touch.
Fans of "Seinfeld" will be delighted to see Jason Alexander in this series.
Always amusing, often brilliant, "Curb" is without a doubt the best current television comedy show on television today.
